CRM

Lead, Opportunity, Campaign and Contract — the pre-sales funnel that feeds Quotation and Customer.

Pre-sales funnel: Lead, Opportunity, Prospect, Contract, and appointment scheduling.

What it does

CRM is everything before a Customer exists. A Lead is an unqualified contact; qualifying it produces an Opportunity with an expected value and a sales stage; winning it produces a Quotation and, eventually, a Customer. Prospect groups several leads and contacts at one organisation, while Campaign, Email Campaign and Appointment cover outreach and scheduling.

Key features

  • Lead and Prospect — capture from web forms or email, with lead source and territory attribution.
  • Opportunity — sales stage, probability, expected close date and value; converts to Quotation.
  • Sales funnel — stage-wise pipeline reporting from Opportunity data.
  • Campaigns — Campaign and Email Campaign with scheduled email schedules against a lead or contact.
  • Appointment — public booking slots that create a calendar Event and notify the assigned agent.
  • Contract — a signed agreement with fulfilment terms, linked polymorphically to any party.

Entity relationships

Each diagram below is one connected cluster of entities. Edges are labelled with the fieldname that carries them — see relationship notation for how to read the crow’s feet.

Opportunity

Opportunity represents a qualified sales pursuit and connects its source and classification to the market segment, type, and stage used to manage the deal.

Direct pairs

Entity pairs whose only intra-module relationship is to each other.

Document composition

Parent documents and the child tables they own.
